switching to VoIP
Switching to VoIP is quick and simple
When should I move over to VoIP?
Unless you are already in a switch-off (commonly known as a copper-stop) area, there is no immediate rush to upgrade to VoIP.
Some people are waiting until they HAVE to upgrade to VoIP before taking that step. This makes sense in some cases.
However, if your Landline Number is important to you, and Full Fibre is available to you, we would suggest to be proactive and take action sooner rather than later.
Landline numbers are not automatically transferable and you could lose your number.
Don’t leave it too late!
We are here to HELP when YOU are ready.
This new digital network is the biggest upgrade to broadband and telephone lines for years, and Open Reach plan to roll out Ultrafast Full Fibre broadband to 25 million homes and businesses by January 2027.
It’s a massive undertaking and they’re doing it town by town and city by city. That means in many areas around the country the traditional telephone line is already no longer available.

How do I make and receive calls?
Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop, Macbook, iMac, Computer etc
We have a “VoIP App” which is free, this allows you to make and receive voice calls on a Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop, Macbook, PC, iMac, Computer etc.
Ideal for residential and businesses
Existing Landline Handset(s)
For many people, change is difficult. If you have an existing Landline Handset(s), or multiple cordless handsets dotted around the home, which you’re familiar with and don’t want to learn something new, rest assured you can still use them.
A “VoIP Adapter” (which we program and send to you) is all you need to continue using your existing handset.
The VoIP Adapter plugs into your Internet Router, and your existing Landline handset plugs into the VoIP Adapter.
Ideal for residential & suitable for ‘some’ businesses.
A VoIP Phone
VoIP phones look like ordinary Cordless and Static Phones; except they have a lot more features.
They come in so many shapes, sizes and features it is difficult to keep up with the options out there, but we can happily consult and chat with you to find the right fit for your needs and budget.
The great news is that VoIP Phones can be used in conjunction with the VoIP App.
Ideal for businesses, but possibly overkill for residential.
